Course enrollments no larger than 18 people.

All participants encouraged to work in the language most comfortable and expressive for them.

The Partner System

We invite you to join our programs with a partner or as an individual. Each of you will produce your own podcast with the support and feedback of your podcasting partner or you can work together to co-create one piece of work. Your partner can be a friend or a work colleague or perhaps someone you would like to share more time with in a creative and productive way. All that said, everyone may come to our programs to work with others and make the podcast they wish to make. You will find friends and listeners.

Technology Requirements

Computer: Desktop or laptop machine running Windows or Mac OS with minimum of a Pentium 4 CPU chip and 1 GB RAM.
Recording Device: Nothing special needed. A Zoom H1, equivalent or better. You can even use your cell phone with a recording app.
Headphones: A decent pair of headphones and a set of earbuds.
Editing Software: We will work with the Hindenburg audio editing system. Each Step One or Step One+ student receives a free personal 90-day trial version! Thank you Hindenburg, you rock! Step Two students provide their own software or may also work with a free Hindenburg license provided it is the first time they have used a trial-version of Hindenburg.
Internet Connection: Fast enough to support video conferencing.
A quiet place to record: This is important and something we will cover in the workshops.
